Why exhibit with us?
The Artists and Makers Fair is a highly respected event in the Lewes calendar, and in 2018 we welcomed around 2,000 people to the event throughout the day. As the Fair is near Christmas people are looking to spend money on gifts, and they are happy to help a worthy cause. It can be a very profitable day for our stallholders, as well as lots of fun.
What makes Artists and Makers Fair different?
The Artists and Makers Fair is run solely by volunteer parents from Western Road Community Primary School. ALL profits from the fair are given to the Friends of Western Road (FWR) for using within the school to promote creativity. The school runs an Art Week, it has paid for new state of the art white boards suitable for digital creations and contributes towards the Year 6 children’s participation in PATINA’s Moving On Parade
How do you exhibit?
If you are interested in having a stall at the Artists and Makers Fair 2019 please click the link below for information on how it works and how to apply. Applications will be open from 10 June until 1 September, 2019.
Note: Artists & Makers is a hugely popular event to sell at and while we would love to give everyone a stall, we are limited by the size of venue. Therefore we operate an application process for stalls. We are committed to ensuring we have a wide variety of stalls, we continue to raise money for Friends of Western Road and aim to have 30-50% new stalls every year. If you apply you will be notified by mid-September if you have been successful.
When is the Fair?
The Artists & Makers Fair 2019 will be held on 7th December at Lewes Town Hall (entrance on Fisher Street).
